Why am I being asked to create a username and password?

Setting a password will allow you to login to the site and update or modify your membership information. Also there are a number of features in the works that when they go live will require you to login to the site to be able to use.

The username allows you to create a public profile page (http://mainstreetchamber.org/username). This page is a commercial for yourself and gives you an additional way to connect with other MainStreetChamber members.
